Job Title: Structural Assembler Experimental Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada (On-Site) Type: Permanent and Contractual Options Available Pay Rate: CAD 32-35/hr. (Contract), Permanent Salary Range: CAD 56k-68k Shift: Day shift or Evening shift, Project Duration: 6 months or more Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Structural Assembler to join a dynamic team. This role involves working on the production and maintenance of aircraft, using technical data and instructions provided for structural installation, assembly, and subassembly of aircraft systems, parts, and components. The assembler will work on large and small components, ensuring conformity with technical specifications and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: · Responsible for the structural installation, assembly, and subassemblies of aircraft systems and components. · Use templates, PVA, Engineering Service drawings, and materials provided by the Methods Department to position components. · Read and interpret plans or manufacturing files. · Adjust and operate manual or automated machines and tools as required for assembly tasks. · Assemble metal and composite parts, ensuring correct fasteners, sealants, bonding materials, and coatings are used according to technical specifications. · Inspect installed units and equipment to ensure fit, performance, and compliance with standards. · Ensure conformity with production rates and quality standards. · Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations. · Report any discrepancies or irregularities in the assembly process. Skills and Qualifications: · Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, particularly in aeronautics. · Vocational diploma or equivalent in aeronautical structure assembly. · Strong knowledge of reading technical drawings and plans. · Excellent dexterity and attention to detail. · Bilingual (French and English) is an asset due to the multilingual work environment.
