Job Description: (1) Corporate and Conveyancing Lawyer - To assist in the review and drafting of corporate and commercial agreements such as sharesale/subscription, shareholder agreements, joint venture agreements, agreements (assignment/licensing),service agreements and various other commercial agreements for clients - To also assist with conveyancing matters as needed such as sale and purchase agreements (sub-sale),tenancy agreements, perfection of transfer and charge, discharge of charge /receipt and reassignmentandworks assigned by the Firm including liaising with and attending to clients - Managing files assigned efficiently and independently (2) Chambering Student - To assist lawyers in litigation, corporate and/or conveyancing matters - To attend court and/or liaise with client when necessary - To conduct legal research - To draft and prepare cause papers, bundle of documents, and/or documentation for conveyancing matters - To monitor and organize case files Qualifications and Requirements: (1) Conveyancing Lawyer - At least 2 years’ experience in conveyancing practice - Able to work under pressure independently, efficiently and with minimal supervision. - Reliable, responsible and punctual especially with regards to deadlines - Pleasant personality and able to work well in a team - Good communication and writing/drafting skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia - Fluency in Mandarin and other dialects would be advantage (2) Chambering Student - Completed a law degree (LL.B) or equivalent qualification - Good command in English and Bahasa Melayu in both written and spoken - Strong team player and willingness to collaborate with colleagues - Able to handle multiple tasks at any given time and to complete task entrusted task within the requisitetime - Responsible with good working attitude; and - Systematic and organized approach to tasks, with the flexibility to adapt to change.
