- Identify, assess, and prioritize risks, including operational, financial, and environmental risks.
- Plan, execute, and manage internal audits across various departments, including exploration, production, logistics, and finance.
- Prepare detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct compliance audits to identify gaps and implement corrective measures.
- Analyze financial reports to detect inconsistencies, irregularities, and potential risks.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is an added advantage.
- Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, CISA, or CRMA would be preferable
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or a similar role, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
- In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local accounting regulations
- Comprehensive understanding of the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors of the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in auditing tools, financial systems, and risk management software.
