An Early Years Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of young children within educational settings such as nurseries, preschools, and early childhood education centers.
Candidate should be located in Lekki
Key Responsibilities: Childcare Support: Assist in delivering high standards of care, child development, and learning for nursery children in a welcoming environment.
Activity Implementation: Contribute to a planned program of activities suitable for the age range of children, in conjunction with other staff.
Classroom Assistance: Support teachers during lessons, providing one-to-one support to youngsters when required, and helping to maintain behavioral standards.
Safety and Hygiene: Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of children by maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Parental Engagement: Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing updates on children's progress and daily activities.
Qualifications:
Education: A Level 2 Certificate in Childcare and Education or a Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education and Care is often preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in a childcare setting is advantageous but not always required.
Skills: Strong communication, patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
