Cogent Labs is looking for a Staff Engineer for its Lahore office. Role: Full Stack Engineer (Python/Django & React) Experience Level: 8+ years Must-Have:
- Strong proficiency in Python and Django for building and maintaining web applications
- Extensive experience with React and modern frontend development practices (JavaScript, ES6+, HTML5, CSS3)
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating them into frontend applications
- Familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Proficient with Git and version control workflows
- Solid understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized applications
- Experience with containerized applications using Docker
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline setups
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Knowledge of additional backend technologies
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and stay current with industry trends
- Lack of experience with full stack development (backend and frontend)
- Inability to adapt to fast-paced, collaborative environments
