Main Tasks and Responsibilities Market Insights Gathering and Reporting
- Conduct and manage primary research and data mining exercises to build an understanding of industry dynamics with customer and competitor landscape and product and pricing information.
- Develop and maintain a structured database and dashboard of each industry’s customer and competitor data as a source of market understanding for each industry, which is updated on regular intervals and accurately captures the market landscape in comparison with BU and SBU targets.
- Serve as the custodian for Strategic Relevant Market and Actual Relevant Market share data for all industries, and have all segmentations, profiling and targeting insights mapped and updated for each industry.
- Maintain a database for mapping macroeconomic indicators relevant to each industry in coordination with concerned government and trade institutions (SBP, PBS, TDAP etc.) and provide management with the relevant information from time to time.
- Analyze the sales dashboard with individual KPIs and targets for each industry and sales manager and facilitate intervention for target achievement on regular intervals throughout the year.
- Support the budget and forecasting exercises with finance and sales teams for all industries through market insights and market data.
- Evaluate all industry roadmaps and account plans for ensuring sales strategy is synchronized with overall business strategy.
- Monitor and evaluate market visit reports on salesforce which are benchmarked on meeting business needs and insight targets.
- Analyze salesforce data for alignment to country and industry roadmaps.
- Conduct regular market visits with sales team for understanding the customer base and facilitating business partnerships and relations.
- Based on market insights data, evaluate and assess opportunities and threats in the market, and align strategy with industry leads and sales team.
- As a strategic business partner, support in actualizing understanding of market data and facilitate understanding of industry leads and sales teams.
- Actively participate in customer events, exhibitions, seminars, and workshops that support market presence.
- Develop, support and supervise all market research initiatives for all industries, aligning with overall business strategy.
- Abide by compliance guidelines, policies, and procedures of the company and BASF Group implemented from time to time.
- Education: Bachelors / Masters Degree in Business Administration, Marketing/Business Analytics.
- Working Experience: Minimum experience of 5 years in Marketing / Market Research/Analytics.
