We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join our team in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The ideal candidate will have 10-20 years of extensive experience in the cybersecurity industry, with a strong focus on securing media and broadcasting environments . As a CISO, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall information security strategy, ensuring the protection of our organization’s critical data and systems.

  • Preside over monthly meetings with the GCISO,GCIO, BU CIOs and COEs with the agenda to improve posture of the organization, enhance IT security performance, promote collaboration & community building.
  • This Position reports into the GCISO
Experience
  • 10-20 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry, with a proven track record of leadership in information security roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies and initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of media and broadcasting security, including protection of digital content and intellectual property.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
Education Qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree (e.g., Master’s, MBA) in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or a relevant discipline is highly desirable.
Certification Required
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC)
  • Certified Chief Information Security Officer (C|CISO) certification preferred
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy, including policies, procedures, and technical measures to protect the organization’s IT and broadcasting systems.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership in the planning, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Oversee the identification, assessment, and mitigation of cybersecurity risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Lead and manage a team of cybersecurity professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to enhance the overall security posture of the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and IT, to integrate cybersecurity best practices into the design and implementation of new technologies and systems.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the organization’s IT and broadcasting infrastructure.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for cybersecurity incidents, leading incident response efforts, and driving the resolution of security breaches and threats.
  • Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management, board members, and other stakeholders to report on the organization’s cybersecurity posture, initiatives, and ongoing risk management efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards, regulations, and industry best practices, and participate in audits and compliance assessments as required.
  • Secure digital content and intellectual property, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of media assets.

  • Proficiency in conducting cybersecurity risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Experience in managing security technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of secure network architecture and protocols, as well as cloud security principles.
