Education :

  • Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field (preferred).
Experience :
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a 4- or 5-star game lodge or luxury hospitality environment.
  • Previous management or supervisory experience is essential.
Skills :
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle high-pressure situations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in lodge management software (e.g., Opera, Protel) and basic Microsoft Office Suite.
Attributes :
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for guest service.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining luxury standards.
  • Ability to adapt to remote living and work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of the local environment, flora, fauna, and culture (advantageous).
Additional Requirements:
  • Valid driver’s license (preferably with PDP).
  • First Aid certification (preferred).
  • Willingness to live on-site in a remote location.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Zulu, Afrikaans, or European languages) are a plus.
