- Strategic Leadership:
- Define and execute the technology strategy aligned with the company's business goals.
- Build a scalable, secure, and innovative tech infrastructure to support growth in the fintech and Islamic banking space.
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to shape strategic initiatives and drive digital transformation.
- Build and lead a high-performing engineering and technology team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Implement robust development and operational processes to ensure efficiency and scalability.
- Product Development:
- Lead the development of our fintech app, focusing on user experience, performance, and scalability.
- Drive product innovation to maintain a competitive edge in the Islamic finance sector.
- Oversee the integration of digital banking, investment, and payment functionalities into the app.
- Design and implement a secure, scalable, and cost-efficient tech stack.
- Ensure robust data management, cybersecurity, and compliance with Sharia principles and regulatory standards.
- Oversee partnerships with third-party vendors, ensuring high-quality deliverables and integrations.
- Operations & Governance:
- Establish governance protocols for technology implementation, development, and risk management.
- Monitor and manage the technology budget, ensuring cost efficiency.
- Regularly report to the board and executive team on technology progress and initiatives.
Experience
We seek a candidate with:- 10+ years of experience in technology leadership, with 5+ years in a fintech or financial services environment.
- Proven experience developing and scaling fintech apps or digital banking solutions.
- Extensive knowledge of cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance in finance.
- Experience managing teams across multiple locations and time zones.
