Job Title: Technical Support Engineer Reference ID: 36209 Our client, a subsidiary of a Japanese-listed manufacturing company, is seeking a Regional Technical Support Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will provide technical support across the ASEAN and South Asia regions, focusing on document scanners and Enterprise Content Management Solutions, utilizing the company’s scanners and data servers. This position reports to the Senior Staff/Head of Department. 【 Responsibilities 】 Post-Sales support
- Provide Technical support to partners or customers after purchasing their products.
- Assist a technical team of partners and customers to tackle and resolve technical issues.
- Dissemble and assemble the scanner according to maintenance manual (Training will be provided).
- Train and enable service partners to provide post-sales support to end-users.
- Manage and process warranty claims, demo/standby unit loans, and spare part cannibalization, with system and paperwork.
- Install and configure hardware and software products.
- Support sales activity as technical expertise.
- Assist sales team, partner, or customer to win and deliver deals.
- Demonstrate hardware and software products.
- Assist in the integration of own products with 3rd party solutions.
- Train and enable partners on pre-sales technical capabilities.
- Diploma in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Technical Support Engineer.
- Willingness to travel for business, averaging once per quarter. (Advantageous)
- Experience and knowledge in programming is an advantage.
