You will be part of a dynamic team within the MAS Chief Cyber Security Officer’s Office under Technology Cyber Risk Supervision Department (TCRD). In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with various IT professionals within MAS to ensure our IT architectures, operations, processes, and cyber security approaches achieve technology and cyber resilience. You will support the Chief Cyber Security Officer in his role as a second line of defence to carry out the following responsibilities: Providing risk advisory related to technology and cyber risk management to both system owners and business users. Developing IT security Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and providing regular updates to MAS management. Participating in IT security and control reviews of critical IT processes and providing oversight over the implementation of enhancements and remediation to address gaps identified. Developing and maintaining the MAS Cyber Security Policy and Cyber Risk Management Framework. Collaborating with the MAS cybersecurity team on MAS IT policies and procedures to ensure adequate controls are implemented to comply with IT policies and procedures. Reviewing technology and cyber risk assessments performed by technology and business departments. Apart from working with MAS internal stakeholders, you will have opportunities to be exposed to work and projects relating to technology and cybersecurity supervision of financial institutions (FIs) as part of cross-learning within the department. You are expected to have a good understanding of technology and cybersecurity risk management and possess the passion and requisite skillsets to provide appropriate advisory to the stakeholders. Requirements: At least 5 years of relevant experience in IT security, IT audit, enterprise IT risk management, or related areas. Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant fields. Clear understanding of risk management with the ability to identify and manage technology and cyber risks. Strong technical knowledge and know-how to conduct effective risk assessments. Candidates with CRISC certification and relevant experience in the Banking and Finance industry would be an advantage. Self-motivated and able to work independently.
