Infrastructure Specialist (Bahraini Candidates)

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering or Computer engineering, information technology or any other related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in supporting infrastructure.

Job Summary The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting and managing IT infrastructure, with a focus on optimizing performance and ensuring reliability. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively collaborate with various teams to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions. Job Responsibilities

• Support the design, implementation, and management of IT infrastructure systems, including servers, storage, networks, and cloud services.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to recommend improvements to infrastructure systems.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation of infrastructure components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address infrastructure needs and challenges.
• Assist in planning and executing infrastructure upgrades and migrations with minimal disruption to services.
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and other departments.

Knowledge and Skills

• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of server and network configurations, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and storage solutions.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Networking Skills: Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security.
• Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience in managing cloud infrastructure.
• Monitoring and Diagnostic Tools: Experience with system monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds) to ensure uptime and performance.
• Scripting and Automation: Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve infrastructure-related issues efficiently.
• Documentation Skills: Ability to create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations and processes.
