Role Description We are seeking a Senior Medical Representative - Food Supplements & Herbals for a full-time on-site role located in Manama. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our food supplements and herbal products to doctors and pharmacists, developing strong business relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, providing customer service and support, and maintaining accurate records. You will also provide training to clients on our products and their benefits.
- Aggressively promote product assigned.
- Fill out daily report and other required reports.
- Maintains good dealing with Private and Government Hospitals in Bahrain.
- Aggressively promote products to all pharmacy chain and individual pharmacy.
- Attains or exceeds monthly, quarterly and annual territory sales objectives for all products.
- Keeps management informed of customer and competitive activity, which could impact the sales or marketing position of our products.
- Builds and maintains customer relationships, while able to cover all specialties Clinics and Doctors.
- Specialties of doctors: Gynecologist, IM, GP, Psychotherapist, Neurologist, Cardiologist, Endocrinologist, Gastroenterologist, Orthopedist, Dermatologist.
- Makes scheduled sales presentations to medical professionals to elicit use of the assigned products and achieve sales goals.
- Utilizes all available tools to effectively execute the sales plan within the assigned territory, other sales team resources, literature and promotional materials.
- Consistently maintains high level of output according to established productivity standards. Makes effective use of all resources to sustain optimum performance and efficiency with a focus on growth and profitability.
- Works collaboratively with the local distribution partners within the territory to ensure sales goals are attained.
- Maintains, analyzes and uses territory/customer reports and databases to effectively and efficiently organize and plan territory priorities and activities.
- Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner.
- Managing and maintaining the stock level and sample inventory of the products.
- Responsible for product detailing and product training to doctors, purchasers and pharmacists.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Strong knowledge of food supplements and herbal products, including their benefits and usage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with clients
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify business opportunities and develop effective sales strategies
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English and Arabic
