You'll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:You will play an integral role in providing a positive and memorable experience for all our Spa and Wellness visitors and hotel guestsProvide essential support to the Spa and Wellness facility working closely with its department head and spa team (and other departments collaboratively) to ensure a seamlessly smooth running of its operations and beyondAct as a role model to junior level recreation team members, mentoring and training new starters and existing Legends while supporting the Director of Spa at all times as well as attending leadership meetings in her absence, delegating where and when necessary, with competency and confidenceSupervise and manage recreational Legends (attendants, lifeguards and personal trainers)Plan and implement recreational programs and events, demonstrating budgeting and financial managementCoordinate with other hotel departments and organizations to deliver the best guest experienceMaintain all SOP's records ensuring they are up to date and implement necessary changes.Ensure the safety of all members and guests who visit the gym and pool areasMaintain the Spa and Wellness facilities and equipment to a high usable standard avoiding breakages and hazardsOversee operations and service delivery of the designated recreation facilities and participatory programsAssist in the day-to-day running of the pool and gym operationsClosely monitor KPIs and provide statistical reports to the Director of Spa when neededAnalyze financial performance and assist in budget planningCollaborate with the Director of Spa on strategic planning, marketing initiatives and revenue generating strategies.Conduct staff training, mentor the Wellness team and actively promote incentives to improve performance and contributions to the department revenueAssist in employees performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for growth and developmentAssist the Spa and Wellness operations when neededImplement daily/weekly/monthly cleaning and maintenance checklists for all relevant employees and ensure all tasks are acted uponEnsure all recreational areas are clean and tidy, properly set up and presented at all timesParticipate in achieving individual and departmental targets optimizing revenue in the upselling of services and retail products by offering relevant recommendations to our guests, confidentlyDemonstrate an exceptional guest service, promptly addressing and satisfactorily resolving guest concerns or issues ensuring all needs are met and exceededOur values of, Passion, Personality, Respect, Working Together and Creativity guide us each and every day. The items shared are the essence of a day in the life of an Assistant Spa Manager  at The Lana Dubai, but we'll make sure you are provided with specifics on how we care for our hotel.
