FuzeHR is on the hunt for a passionate Hardware Quality Engineer for an international tech company! This role is based out of the Burnaby office and is a permanent, full-time position from Monday to Friday. Compensation includes

  • Base salary of $100K - $130K depending on experience

Responsibilities
  • Driving preventative and corrective action from the manufacturing side
  • Ensuring the reliability of hardware designs through a variety of verification methods such as field testing, reliability analysis, failure investigation, corrective action and more
  • Engaging in the quality program for hardware development from conception to final delivery of product
  • Participating in all hardware design reviews
  • Implementing quality and regulatory best practices, policies, and audit standards
  • Providing quality and regulatory guidance to stakeholder departments, including Product Management, Product Development and Manufacturing
  • Identify and provide quality training as required
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience working with hardware
  • 2-3 years of experience working within Quality
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) - American Society for Quality designation is preferred
  • Certifications and experience with methodologies such as Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, DFMEA preferred
  • Expertise in electronics design, system architecture, circuit board layout, component selection and reliability of designs
  • Ability to collaborate closely with other departments in a professional manner
  • Ability to handle high-pressure environment and meet deadlines
