This is an on-site position based in our Calgary, AB location (downtown). There is no opportunity for remote or hybrid in this role. RESPONSIBILITIES Video Editing and Motion Graphics
- Plan, edit, and produce high-quality videos for marketing campaigns, social media, websites, and presentations.
- Create engaging motion graphics and animations using Adobe After Effects to enhance video content.
- Add music, sound effects, and visual effects to videos for maximum impact.
- Optimize video content for various platforms, ensuring compatibility and high performance.
- Design compelling visuals for digital and print materials, including social media posts, brochures, presentations, and email campaigns.
- Utilize Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to create high-quality, on-brand graphics.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute design projects that align with campaign goals.
- Maintain a consistent look and feel across all creative content, adhering to brand guidelines.
- Develop templates in Canva for social media, internal communications, and marketing use.
- Assist in brainstorming sessions to provide creative input and generate innovative ideas.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, and product teams, to understand project requirements and deliverables.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Provide regular updates on project progress and incorporate feedback effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Digital Media, or a related field preferred.
- At least 1 year of professional experience as a graphic designer or in digital content creation.
- Full proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
- Advanced skills in Canva , with the ability to design custom templates and content.
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout design, and composition.
- Knowledge of video and animation workflows, including exporting and optimizing files for different platforms.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A collaborative team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on producing error-free, high-quality work.
