Job Expectations:
- Position Type: Mid - Individual Contributor
- Employment Type: Full-Time; Permanent
- Work Setup: Hybrid (4 days on-site, 1-day WFH)

- Base Salary: Php 80,000 - Php 100,000
- Collaborate with development teams to implement and improve DevOps tools, processes, and workflows, focusing on scalability and performance.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable seamless software delivery.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, ensuring efficient, repeatable, and reliable deployments.
- Manage configuration for both infrastructure and application settings, automating and streamlining configuration updates, ensuring consistency across environments, and enforcing best practices for security and performance.
- Manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring efficient operation, cost control, and service availability while maintaining performance and implementing security best practices, including Web Application Firewall (WAF) configurations.
- Establish and configure monitoring systems and logging solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability, enabling IT operations, developers, and support teams to proactively identify and address potential bottlenecks or issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in both development and production environments.
- Implement security best practices throughout the DevOps pipeline, ensuring compliance and safeguarding resources.
- Stay informed about the latest DevOps technologies and trends, sharing insights and knowledge with the team to drive continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- At least 2 years of experience in a DevOps or related engineering role.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools such as AWS CloudFormation and AWS CDK (TypeScript).
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Bitbucket Pipelines, AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or similar.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker (Kubernetes experience is a plus).
- Proficient in scripting languages like Python or Bash.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Strong foundation in system administration concepts, including networking, storage, and security.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues across both infrastructure and application layers.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with AWS and open-source monitoring and logging tools like AWS CloudWatch and Glowroot APM; knowledge of Prometheus or Grafana is a plus.
- Practical experience and hands-on expertise with managing and deploying AWS services, including:
- Compute & Containers: EC2, Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, ECS
- Storage & Database: S3, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, RDS (Aurora, MySQL)
- Networking & Security: VPC, IAM, API Gateway, CloudFront, WAF
- Monitoring: Cloudwatch
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation and AWS CDK (TypeScript).
- Basic knowledge of cost optimization, performance tuning strategies, security best practices, and monitoring on AWS, with a willingness to develop further expertise.
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner is preferred.
