Role Overview: Our client, a leading IT services provider in Kerry, is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Field Service Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role involves delivering on-site technical support and maintenance services to a diverse client base, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. IT Field Service Engineer Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Perform installations, configurations, and upgrades of IT equipment, including servers, PCs, printers, and network devices.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems promptly to minimize downtime for clients.
• Conduct routine maintenance and system health checks to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage and document service requests and resolutions using the company's ticketing system.
• Collaborate with remote support teams to address complex technical issues.
• Provide training and guidance to clients on IT systems and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as an IT Field Service Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency in network troubleshooting and configuration (LAN/WAN, routers, switches).
• Experience with hardware diagnostics and repair.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Kerry region.
