Job Description Keppel is a leading global asset manager and operator with strong capabilities in energy & environment, urban development, and connectivity, creating solutions for a sustainable future. This role sits within 1 of the 2 platforms: (i) Fund Management and (ii) Investment. The Fund Management platform focuses on raising capital and forging stronger relationships with investors. The Investment platform aims to drive capital deployment decisions and horizontal integration to create value for our investors. Together, we aim to create value and deliver sustainable returns for our investors through a range of products including listed REITs and business trusts and private funds which invest globally into Real Estate, infrastructure, data centres, and alternative asset classes. The intern will be responsible for the following: Assist in analysing and implementing effective Lease Management in areas like deal structuring, renewal & retention strategies, client & asset risk assessment (e.g., Know Your Clients, arrears monitoring, property tax management). Assist in reviewing AEI and asset valuation for the assets under management. Co-ordinate initiatives for the team across countries in areas like Compliance, Environmental, Social & Governance, Health Safety and Environment, BCP, Audit, etc. Prepare & consolidate budgets and periodic forecasts relating to net property income and capital expenditure of the portfolio, variance analysis with review of actual performance against budget and strategies. Reporting - Consolidate and analyse data at individual property and portfolio level for periodic and ad hoc result announcements/investor meetings, prepare monthly and quarterly reports outlining performance by property and portfolio levels for internal management/trustee. Assist in the preparation of company annual reports and circulars. Learning Outcomes: Learn more about the emerging field of sustainability. Learn more about ESG-related issues. Job Requirements: Familiarity with MS Excel / PowerPoint / Word. Self-motivated and resourceful team player, with the ability to work under limited supervision. Task-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Financial modeling experience will be advantageous. Accuracy/attention to detail and strong quantitative skills.
