Part-Time Programmer for WhatsApp Chatbot Position: Part-Time Programmer (Paid) Project Duration: Feb to April 2025 Work Hours : 5–8 hours per week Location: Remote About the Role : We are looking for a motivated and skilled part-time programmer to join our team for a 3-month project focused on developing a WhatsApp chatbot for frontline health workers. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in programming and chatbot development using the WhatsApp Business API. It will provide valuable exposure to real-world programming challenges and applications and is ideal for current engineering or programming students looking for internship opportunities. Key Responsibilities :

1. Understand user engagement requirements for the chatbot, including functionalities like delivering video content, case studies, and quizzes.
2. Collaborate with a WhatsApp API integration platform to program the chatbot user interface and backend content.
3. Monitor the usage of the chatbot by users, track engagement metrics, and suggest improvements.
4. Identify and resolve technical issues related to chatbot functionality and performance.
5. Work closely with the project team to align the chatbot’s features with user needs and expectations.

• Technical Skills:

1. Basic to intermediate programming experience (Python, JavaScript, or similar languages).
2. Familiarity with APIs, especially WhatsApp Business API.
3. Understanding of database management and backend programming is preferred.

• Soft Skills:

1. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
2. Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

• Additional Skills (Preferred):

1. Prior experience with chatbot development or conversational AI.
2. Understanding of user-centric design principles.
3. Language: Knowledge of Hindi is a plus since the bot will be deployed in Bihar.
