Health & Safety Lead - 12738 Health & Safety Lead required to join one of Ireland’s largest Tier 1 Main Contractors to work on a Data Centre project in Sweden . The successful candidate will report to the Regional Health & Safety Manager and the Project Director. - Ensure compliance with the company safety management system, EHS laws, and project execution plans.
- Coordinate and manage task-specific Method Statements, Risk Assessments, permits, and safety interventions.
- Maintain good safety practices through regular site audits, C.O.S.H.H assessments, and hazardous substance control.
- Oversee staff induction, training, and ensure subcontractors adhere to EHS policies.
- Manage project PPE, welfare, and hygiene facilities, ensuring they meet requirements.
- Assist with accident investigations and keep the Safety File documentation up to date.
- Participate in daily briefings and maintain waste reduction and recycling programs according to project policies.
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
- A relevant Health & Safety qualification.
- Team player and able to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external clients.
- Flexible to change and open to constructive feedback.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
- IT Skills – Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Salary €100,000 to €110,000 DOE
- Generous living away allowance (in addition to salary)
