In this exciting role, you will: Diagnose and manage a wide range of infectious diseases, including: Bacterial infections (pneumonia, urinary tract infections, etc.)Viral infections (influenza, COVID-19, HIV/AIDS, etc.)Fungal infections Parasitic infections Antibiotic-resistant infections Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history taking, physical examinations, and advanced diagnostic testing (blood tests, cultures, imaging studies). Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, which may involve various medications, preventative measures, and collaboration with other specialists. Educate and counsel patients on their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures to prevent the spread of infection. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, pharmacists, epidemiologists, and public health officials, to ensure optimal patient care and community health. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in infectious disease research, best practices, and emerging infectious threats. Potential for involvement in antimicrobial stewardship programs, infection control initiatives, and outbreak investigations (depending on the practice setting). REQUIREMENTS Board Certification (ABIM) – Infectious Dieases. DEA certificate. PROVISIONS Medical insurance provided Salary: Negotiable
