Their platform is designed for consumers and small businesses to obtain legal help at a fraction of the cost of a traditional law firm. Combining the expertise of regulated human lawyers with the world's first AI lawyer specifically built for consumer legal work. Equal access to the law is one of the most pressing unsolved problems in society today. They're passionate about levelling the playing field and believe access to the law should be a basic utility in society. AI lawyer is built on top of their own fine-tuned LLM and recently passed the Solicitors Qualifying Exams (SQE). Gaining backing from leading US and UK VC funds and from founders and executives who have built some of the biggest startups like Bloom & Wild, Primer, SignalAI, Spotify, Meta, Curve, Monzo, and Tide. About the Role They are hiring a Sales Specialist to join the front-line customer team, helping clients access the legal services they need. Reporting to the Customer Operations team, every member of the Legal Assessment team is in constant communication with customers, using their knowledge base, tooling, and team support to ensure clients receive the best and most appropriate legal help. Every LAS is directly involved in our process and product, helping to shape a fast-moving legal technology startup. What the Job Involves

  • Communicating directly with clients seeking legal help
  • Assessing legal problems and proposing solutions
  • Answering client questions and handling objections (via phone, email, and webchat)
  • Identifying opportunities to improve our product and processes
  • Transforming the way people access their legal rights and making legal help accessible to everyone!
Requirements
  • You’re opinionated and want to help us change the legal system for the better
  • You must have a year's minimum sales experience and possess a "sales mindset"
  • You have a demonstrable understanding of the law—either you've worked as a paralegal, have a law degree, or have practical experience dealing with consumer legal issues (e.g., working at citizens advice)
  • You’re able to communicate clearly and have experience on the phone, ideally discussing legal matters with clients
  • You understand the importance of being commercially aware
  • You are highly organised and can demonstrate your attention to detail
  • You’re motivated and ambitious, capable of learning and adapting in a fast-changing startup environment
  • FULLY REMOTE BUT MUST BE UK-BASED
