DIY Product Technologist (Senior)

PRODUCT QUALITY TECHNOLOGIST (Senior level) LOCATION: The Netherlands (nr. Amsterdam) - relocation and sponsorship paid DIY - Hardware/Tools/Paint Our Client:

• Highly successful Global Retailer specialising in General Merchandise and FMCG products
• Amsterdam, Netherlands (not remote)
• Full relocation offered and sponsorship considered, however you must have experience of working within European markets

The Role: This role is responsible for developing, influencing and delivering quality, sustainability and ethical standards & processes for a specific product category on a global scale. This is a Senior level role within the business structure and the person will operate as the technical ‘Expert’ for their category for both internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for the DIY category across:

• Policies and Procedures
• Quality and Control
• Systems and Reporting
• Supplier Management
• Product Safety and Legislation
• People Management - 1 direct report

The Requirements:

• Extensive experience within Product Quality, Compliance, and Safety Management
• A relevant product background within a DIY related category (experience within Electronic Tools, Metallurgy, Paint substances etc)
• The desire to live and work in Amsterdam
