Our exclusive client who is a well established mover of freight - cross border, located in South Western Ontario, has an opening on their sales team for a Senior Accounts Representative. Reporting to the General Manager and working in office one day a week. Responsibilities: Developing an account base for customers requiring expedited, air, dedicated and intermodal freight services. · Focus is to be on development of new business. · Locating prospective customers, generating them into leads and converting them to customers. · Strong research skills and a sound product and industry knowledge. · Submitting weekly sales reports to management. · Keeping contact lists and continue to build relationships. · Current customers are mainly automotive/manufacturing based and looking to expand the customer base beyond automotive/manufacturing making inroads to the aerospace, energy, pharmaceutical/vitamin and e-commerce sectors. · Will be responsible to maintain and service the current customer base, devoting approximately 20% to current customer maintenance and 80% on new business development. · Territory will be GTA, Southwestern ON and MI. Requirements: · College or University diploma In Logistics and Supply chain (asset). · Minimum 5 years Transportation industry experience. · Valid driver’s license. · Valid passport.
