- Act as the public face of the organization, representing Rexdale Women’s Centre to funders, community leaders, and partners.
- Strengthen and expand culturally sensitive programs tailored to the evolving needs of diverse women and their families.
- Collaborate with the Board to maintain governance excellence and advance strategic priorities.
- Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute long-term strategies that balance immediate community needs with sustainable growth.
- Financial Oversight : Manage budgets, oversee financial planning, and identify innovative funding opportunities to support program expansion.
- Program Development : Ensure programs are impactful, equitable, and responsive to the needs of underserved communities.
- Community and Stakeholder Engagement : Build and maintain relationships with funders, government agencies, and community groups to amplify the organization’s mission.
- Risk Management and Compliance : Proactively address risks and ensure adherence to legislative and regulatory standards.
- A degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred). Equivalent work experience in non-profit or public sector leadership will also be considered.
- 8–10 years of senior leadership experience, ideally in the public or non-profit sector.
- Visionary Leadership : Ability to set a bold strategic direction while managing operational priorities.
- Financial Expertise : Proven success in managing budgets, securing funding, and ensuring financial sustainability.
- Stakeholder Engagement : A track record of building collaborative relationships with funders, government agencies, and community leaders.
- Commitment to Equity : Deep understanding of systemic barriers facing women and equity-seeking groups, with a proven ability to drive inclusion.
- Program Oversight : Strong skills in evaluating and improving programs to ensure meaningful community impact.
- Communication Skills : Exceptional ability to inspire and engage diverse audiences, from staff to funders.
