About The Role The Inventory Manager will be responsible for the overall accuracy of both fresh and frozen finished products at Maple Lodge Farms and 3PL off-site facilities. What's in it for you?

- Oversee daily monitoring of inventory (i.E. Daily cycle counts & Inventory Discrepancies) and conducts counts in the absence of the Coordinator.
- Work with 3rd party auditors, lead year-end inventory cycle for MLF.
- Compile and provide statistical reporting and ad-hock investigative results for all aspects of inventory movement.
- Maintain a safe environment and physical condition of the warehouse.
- Interact daily with plant Operations, Sales, Supply & Demand, Shipping, Receiving and Quality Assurance departments.
- Organize and supervise the activities and work of a small team of subordinates, provide formal and informal feedback and develop team capabilities.
- Recommend and manage a budget for the direct area of responsibility and monitor the financial performance against approved budget.
- Minimum 5 years’ Supervisory and/or Management experience in the food industry, preferably in a ready-to-eat and unionized environment
- Working knowledge of food and meat plant regulatory standards (CFIA, etc.), GMP, HACCP, BRC, food safety, food quality, etc.
- Previous experience working with AX 2009, D365 or similar logistics software is an asset
- Working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), WHMIS
- Team-player with excellent leadership skills, able to motivate others, negotiate effectively, and interact professionally with internal and external
