What do we do? Co-founded by Harvard graduates, Sinica Education provides online educational services to bilingual international students in middle school, high school, and college. Our services include: online accredited courses, academic counseling, one-on-one tutoring, and other academic support and guidance to ensure our students’ academic success. Sinica Education is looking for part-time instructors to join our team. Specifically, we are looking for instructors who can tutor college level courses. The ideal instructor would be able to cover both high school and college level courses in two or more subject areas listed below:
- Mathematics
- Statistics
- Computer science
- And other higher level high school/lower level college subjects
- Native or near-native (high) proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese and English
- MUST hold a bachelor or graduate degree from a top university. Bachelor’s degree must be completed prior to applying.
- In-depth knowledge content knowledge and understanding of 2-3 subjects listed above
- Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills
- A real passion for equitable education and a desire to work with international students with diverse identities, cultural background, and academic proficiency
- Current MA, PhD or EdD candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Classroom teaching experience at the high school or college level
- One-on-one tutoring experience with high school or college students
- Experience with online learning platforms
