Job Description
As an Accountant, you shall be responsible for the following functions and more:
- We need a detail-oriented and skilled individual to fill the role of an Accountant.
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Forecasting and Budgeting
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Handle petty cash and expenses
- Interphase with bank on behalf of the company.
- Prepare invoices and receipts
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Preparation of the company’s financial statement
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
- Other related duties that will be assigned
- BSc in Accounting or any related field
- 5 years of Work experience as an Accountant or bookkeeper
- Can handle multiple transactional accounts
- MS Excel skills
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Flexible
- Willing to shuffle between Lagos and Port Harcourt
- Proximity to the Office will be considered
- Age Range: Young
- Gender: Male
