Mixologist with the art and science of crafting cocktails and mixed beverages. Their role extends beyond traditional bartending by focusing on the creation of innovative drink recipes, coffee making, understanding flavor pairings, and providing exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Crafting Beverages: Design and prepare a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as coffee and tea while ensuring consistency and quality in presentation and taste.
Menu Development: Collaborate in creating and updating the beverage menu, introducing new cocktails that align with current trends and customer preferences.
Customer Interaction: Engage with patrons to understand their preferences, make personalized drink recommendations, and provide insights into cocktail ingredients and preparation methods.
Inventory Management: Oversee bar inventory, including ordering and stocking of spirits, mixers, and garnishes, while ensuring proper storage and rotation of supplies.
Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and complies with health and safety regulations.
Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to junior bar staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
Qualifications: Experience: Proven experience as a mixologist or bartender in a high-end bar or restaurant setting.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of various spirits, liqueurs, wines, beers, and cocktail ingredients, along with the ability to create balanced and innovative drinks.
Skills: Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage a diverse clientele.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in bartending or mixology are advantageous.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
