Our organization is a manufacturing company located in Delta, we are seeking an experienced welder who will be responsible for assembling, repairing, and fabricating metal structures and components using various welding techniques and equipment. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety to ensure the highest standards of quality in all projects.
Job Responsibility:
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.
- Weld small and large components such as copper plumbing, beams, and pipelines.
- Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform the same job.
- Maintain and repair all machinery.
- Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors.
- Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
- Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
- Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
- SSCE or Welding Apprenticeship Certification preferred.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Knowledge of metallurgy and material properties.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
