What will you be doing? The Senior Claims Consultant performs a role that supports the operation of the Claims Department by attending to customer requests. It is a service role that manages the interactions, claim (and where applicable the administration) needs of customers on a day-to-day basis. You can expect to be across the following:

  1. Liaising with customers and consultants to promptly resolve their claims and complaints in accordance with the wording and company's policies and procedures
  2. Responding to customer requests by promptly attending to their individual needs
  3. Ensuring that claims are settled in accordance with the policy wording, company's agreed policies and procedures
  4. Provide coaching and feedback to the claims team to ensure high performance levels are achieved.
  5. Act as a mentor with other seniors to share knowledge and subject matter expertise
What you'll need To be successful in this role, you will also be able to demonstrate the following:
  1. Insurance industry knowledge
  2. Product knowledge in fire and general insurance
