IT Support Engineer

Blue Cube Services is excited to recruit a remote working Junior IT Support Engineer for the world's leading software platform for digital assets. Offering the largest production crypto platform in the world, who share the passion to code, create, and ultimately build an open, accessible and fair financial future, one piece of software at a time. Our client is constantly growing and evolving so we are looking for a Junior IT Support Engineer to join their IT Operations Team and support the global team remotely.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

1. Provide comprehensive and timely IT support to all employees.
2. Exercise security best practices and monitor and train employees to do the same.
3. Maintain & provision employees' hardware and software for a global taskforce.
4. Perform onboarding/offboarding and re-provisioning procedures.
5. Support the setup and management of new and existing infrastructure.
6. Support handling user administration and auditing of all third-party service accounts.
7. Support employees with out-of-hours on-call rota.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

1. The foremost quality for this position or any position at Blockchain is integrity.
2. A high degree of security awareness and current knowledge of best practices.
3. Ability to prioritize, organize and execute quickly and efficiently in a dynamic environment with ever-changing and competing demands.
4. Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, routing, firewalls.
5. Superb fire-fighting and problem-solving abilities.
6. Confident, outgoing, and whatever-it-takes attitude.
7. Previous startup experience and ability to manage multiple projects with varying timelines and levels of priority.
8. Knowledge and experience of MacOS and GSuites/Workspace administration essential.
9. Knowledge and experience with Jamf MDM software essential.
10. Knowledge and experience on Active Directory is a plus.
11. Previous experience with office moves and building a corporate IT system from the ground up preferred.
12. Ability to travel 10% out of the year, sometimes internationally.
