US Paralegal

SUMMARY: This paralegal role involves managing cases, preparing legal documents, conducting research, and supporting 2-3 lawyers. You'll work with a U.S.-based team, handle sensitive materials, and ensure tasks are completed accurately. Strong organization, attention to detail, and adaptability are key. Flexible hours across time zones are required. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Case Management:
   1. Manage multiple active cases simultaneously while maintaining a highly accurate calendar.
   2. Ensure thorough organization and preparation for cases, assisting 2-3 lawyers with scheduling and documentation.
2. Document Preparation and Legal Research:
   1. Format and manage documents for Federal and State litigation, adhering to local court rules.
   2. Research and apply local rules with accuracy and precision as needed for various jurisdictions.
3. Collaboration and Flexibility:
   1. Work with a team of three other paralegals across the United States, stepping in wherever required.
   2. Adapt to the dynamic nature of the firm's cases, with no standard routines.
4. Administrative Support:
   1. Handle sensitive documents related to diverse and potentially sensitive industries.
   2. Answer phone calls professionally and fluently in English.
5. Attention to Detail and Proactivity:
   1. Maintain a high standard of detail orientation to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
   2. Be proactive in researching solutions and continuously learning to improve skills and avoid repeat mistakes.

1. Experience managing multiple cases and keeping things organized.
2. Knowledge of document formatting and Federal/State court processes.
3. Ability to research and follow court rules accurately.
4. Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn.
5. Comfortable handling sensitive or potentially offensive materials.
6. Strong English communication skills and phone etiquette.
7. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
8. Proficient with MS Word.
9. Willing to work US hours (PH night shift).
