Position Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with assigned major accounts to drive brand awareness and secure profitable business.
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and report on customer-specific sales processes and account plans on an annual, quarterly, and monthly basis to meet/exceed sales targets.
  • Analyze customer information to discover and manage business risks and opportunities.
  • Recommend products and services (value proposition) that match customers' strategic and tactical directions.
  • Initiate contract negotiations including terms and conditions, product offers, and pricing in line with overall product and pricing strategies and guidelines.
  • Skilled at developing a collaborative Joint Business Plan with the customers.
  • Support in the preparation of sales forecasts and budgets.
  • To conduct market research to identify / analyse consumer, competitors, and business market opportunities.
  • Work closely with the cross-functional teams (e.g. Trade Marketing, Product Manager and Supply Chain Management) to ensure efficient and effective execution.

; JOB REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree holder in Business Studies, Marketing or equivalent.
  • 4 years of solid experience in FMCG sales and marketing, preferably from leading MNC or distributor environment handling MNC principle.
  • Experience in Modern Trade/Convenience/Petrol Mart channel and Distributor Management.
  • Aggressive, result oriented and with high personal drive to succeed.
  • Have strong people and negotiation skills, able to deal effectively with retailers/distributors and to execute the sales / marketing plans.
  • Have a good communication skills in English and Malay.
