Swaaha Resource Management is hiring! Designation- Job Location- Jammu Key Roles & Responsibilities: o Capacity Building Strategy Development

  • Develop a comprehensive capacity-building and training strategy to support the Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) campaign under Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) 2.0.
  • Identify the training needs of key stakeholders, including ULB officials, community leaders, field staff, and citizens, and design targeted capacity-building programs.
  • Formulate a detailed training implementation plan, including timelines, resources, and performance indicators, to guide the rollout of training initiatives in alignment of Annual Implementation Plan (AIP) across all 80 ULBs.
o Curriculum Design and Content Development
  •  Design and develop training curricula, modules, toolkits, and manuals tailored to various stakeholders involved in sanitation, waste management, and behaviour change communication.
  • Incorporate innovative training methodologies, such as participatory learning, experiential activities, and case studies, to enhance knowledge transfer and retention.
  • Develop e-learning content and digital training resources to complement in-person workshops, ensuring training is accessible to remote ULBs and stakeholders.
o Training Delivery and Facilitation
  • Lead the facilitation of training workshops, seminars, and capacity-building programs for ULBs, government officials, community leaders, and waste management personnel.
  • Oversee the deployment of a network of master trainers across ULBs, ensuring effective delivery of training programs at the grassroots level.
  • Use diverse training formats, including classroom sessions, webinars, field demonstrations, and on- the-job training, to cater to different learning styles and needs.
o Stakeholder Engagement and Coordination
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including ULBs, HUDD, NGOs, and community-based organizations, to ensure their involvement in capacity-building initiatives.
  •  Collaborate with other project teams, such as the Monitoring & Feedback team, to ensure that training outcomes are aligned with the overall goals of the IEC campaign.
  •  Coordinate with external training consultants and agencies, where necessary, to support specialized training needs.

o Monitoring and Evaluation of Training Programs
  • Develop monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the effectiveness of capacity-building programs, including participant feedback, knowledge assessments, and post-training evaluations.
  • Regularly track training outcomes and provide reports to the Project Head and relevant stakeholders, identifying areas for improvement and success stories.
  •  Adjust training strategies based on feedback and data to continuously improve the capacity-building
  • program’s impact.
o Continuous Improvement and Innovation
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in training and capacity building, incorporating innovative approaches into the program.
  • Experiment with new training tools, platforms, and methods to ensure that training is engaging, relevant, and impactful.
  • Encourage peer-to-peer learning, mentorship, and the sharing of best practices across ULBs to enhance local capacity in sanitation and waste management.
o Budget and Resource Management
  • Manage the capacity-building budget, ensuring efficient use of resources while delivering high-quality training programs.
  • Source and manage third-party vendors or consultants to assist with specialized training content or facilitation, when necessary.
  • Ensure all training programs are delivered within the allocated timelines and budgets, making necessary adjustments to meet program objectives.
