Job Summary : The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding business operations in the Human and Animal Nutrition sectors. This role involves strategic planning, resource management, project execution, and client relationship management. The ideal candidate will work towards achieving sales targets, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving market growth while adhering to the company’s standards and objectives. Key Responsibilities : Project Management :
- Plan, gather resources, execute, and deliver assigned projects independently or as part of a team.
- Devise strategies to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
- Negotiate pricing, finalize contracts, and confirm orders.
- Identify new prospects and nurture client relationships through visits, calls, and engagement.
- Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients.
- Update clients on relevant market and shipment information.
- Ensure prompt collection of payments and resolve any concerns.
- Represent the organization at trade fairs and industry events.
- Engage with industry leaders on food ingredients, animal nutrition products, and their applications.
- Enhance marketing efforts through online, offline, and print channels.
- Implement strategies to reduce lead response time.
- Proactively develop initiatives to maximize profitability.
- Manage the development and delivery of new products and projects.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth business operations.
- Coordinate with the sales operations team to ensure timely order execution.
- Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and service excellence.
- Adhere to the Business Continuity Plan.
- Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in the Human and Animal Nutrition sectors.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
