Business Development Representative

Job Title: Business Development Representative Location: Remote (South Africa) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm EST Salary Range: 1400 - 1800 USD per month + Incentives

Overview: We are seeking a proactive and driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our sales team. In this role, you will focus on outbound prospecting and discovery activities to generate qualified leads for our sales team, with an emphasis on booking demos. You will play a critical role in our 30-day sales cycle, working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct outbound prospecting via LinkedIn and email to identify and engage potential leads.
• Manage and execute discovery calls to qualify prospects and set up demo meetings.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth transitions from discovery to demo and closing stages.
• Utilize HubSpot CRM to track and manage interactions with prospects and maintain accurate records (experience with HubSpot is a plus but not required).
• Assist in refining strategies for lead generation and engagement.
• Focus on booking demos as part of a 30-day sales cycle, typically involving discovery, demo, and closing meetings.

• SaaS experience is required (non-negotiable).
• Background in B2B sales, preferably within the security or compliance sectors.
• Proven experience in outbound prospecting and conducting effective discovery calls.
• Strong understanding of the sales process, with a particular emphasis on the discovery and demo stages.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team in a fast-paced environment.
