Job Description:

Job Purpose In this role you will be required to lead and co-ordinate Quality Assurance activities to ensure customer specific requirements are captured and implemented to the relevant business processes. You will provide leadership in best practice in Automotive and Medical Quality, and lead improvement projects to improve the QMS and reduce customer issues. You will also provide support to customers (on-site/remote) in the event of issues and take ownership of certain QMS processes. Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Monitor and ensure compliance with ISO9000; ISO13485; ISO14001
  2. Ownership of the PPAP process, validation process
  3. Support Customer and APQP processes
  4. Support Sales in ensuring that Customer Specific Requirements are captured effectively and understood.
  5. Lead projects to implement Customer Specific Requirements in the relevant business areas where required.
  6. Handle customer complaints 8D process
  7. Provide leadership to all teams on best practice Quality and provide training where required.
  8. Review and complete customer quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  9. Lead improvement projects with cross-functional teams to continually improve QMS.
  10. Support internal and external audits
Education & Experience requirements:
  1. Third level qualification in Quality, Science or Engineering or equivalent qualification, or extensive experience in a similar role
  2. Strong team member with the ability to identify and drive quality improvement programs.
  3. Ability to liaise with suppliers and customers in an informed professional manner.
  4. Excellent IT, communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Problem solving skills
  6. Ability to work on own initiative, coupled with involvement on cross-functional teams.
  7. Interest and willingness to learn new skills and take on new tasks
  8. Strong sense of urgency and flexibility.
  9. Should be capable of preparing reports and presenting data graphically
  10. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with peers and Managers
  11. At least 3-5 years' relevant Quality Engineering experience
