Roles & Responsibilities Candidates for this position usually have five or more years of experience implementing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate clearly with coworkers across an organization. Often, companies look for candidates with expertise in ERP software such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP or NetSuite, as well as a PMP certification and a bachelor's degree in computer science, business, finance or a related field. Typical Duties of an ERP Project Manager: Overseeing the planning, development and integration of ERP systems Managing the functionality of new ERP systems, as well as upgrades and modifications to current systems Tracking, analyzing and resolving issues with ERP systems Taking budgetary responsibility for the systems rollout and preparing reporting packages for the steering committee Communicating with management on schedules, delays and work changes for ERP projects Training users on new and upgraded systems Managing change across the organization to ensure a gradual adoption of the new system #J-18808-Ljbffr
