Job details
Responsibilities: Perform electrical and electronic conceptual details design work. Responsible for the analysis, definition, design, construction, testing, installation, modification, and maintenance of automated machines, containing software as the major component. Writes new machine program, makes modification to existing machine software, or integrates software application. Creates and executes unit testing and integration testing ensuring machine software meets requirements. Identify, define and implement the technical architecture for use of auto visual inspection in our product within budget and schedule. Review electrical and electronic documents/drawings. Creates, reviews, and maintains all required technical documentation/manual related to assigned software to ensure supportability and reuse. Participate in project planning sessions with team members to analyze development requirements. Reviews project work with the team, including the machine design engineers and engineering engineers. Provide timely status updates for areas of individual responsibilities within projects to superior. Provides technical support to operations or other development teams. Overall responsibility for technical issues and coordinate with other disciplines. Participate in the continuous improvement programs to explore ways and means to improve production efficiency and reliability. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering with a minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience. Experience working with vision system databases. Knowledge of camera, light, and lens selection for applications ranging from defect detection to part location. Programming background with high-level languages such as Visual C# WPF, C++, and Python. Experience in developing vision systems with Halcon and Opteon cameras. Good knowledge in Machine Vision programming and experience. Good experience with automation controls, motors & sensors like PLC, CTC, Beckhoff PC and controllers, Servo & Stepper motors. Familiarity with wiring/cabling size/terminations and load/temperature requirements. Familiarity with industrial machinery design. Skilled in the utilization of statistical analysis. Required to travel regionally (average 20% of the time). 5 days work week. Transport pick-up at Bedok MRT station. #J-18808-Ljbffr
