Project Engineer

Location: on site I- Basic Function/General Scope of Work The position takes overall responsibility of project management for all aspects (contract, commercial and technical) of the projects assigned. The position works closely with Project Manager to complete and achieve the projects’ objectives/metrics as planned. II- Key Duties & Responsibilities Conduct site inspections, collect data, and transfer information to the design team to prepare drawings. Verify all drawings from the design team prior to moving to the construction phase. Address customer requirements related to drawings and specifications. Coordinate with the design team, customers, and subcontractors during construction. Check and inspect the quality of work carried out by subcontractors' workers. Assist and follow the assignments of the project manager to ensure projects are implemented on time, safely, and in accordance with customer requirements. Be responsible for testing and commissioning all equipment with subcontractors after installation. Provide customer training after project completion. Conduct final inspections and collect data for as-built drawings. Accountable for implementing assigned responsibilities and activities to attain project goals and objectives. Accountable for strictly complying with Chubb’s Code of Ethics. Accountable for implementing assigned responsibilities and activities to attain EH&S goals and objectives and complying with EH&S policies, applicable rules, procedures, and regulations. III- Qualifications & Competencies The incumbent should possess: A degree in Engineering is required/preferred. Civil, M&E all are welcome. A minimum of 3 years of Project Management knowledge, skills, and experience. Knowledge and experience in engineering management, problem-solving, strong systematic and analytical thinking skills, strong knowledge of commercial terms and conditions, working within an ISO 9000 quality environment, and strong coaching, influential, and negotiation skills. Good English communication and computer competencies. Adaptability, analytical thinking, teamwork, communication, listening, and ethics. Experience in LTA projects is preferred.
