Summary Responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of automated systems and processes to drive efficiency and productivity within the company’s manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Develop and implement strategies to automate various manufacturing processes and operations. Lead a team of automation engineers and technicians to design, configure, and maintain automated systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvements. Oversee the testing, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of automated equipment and systems. Analyse data and metrics to continually optimize the performance of automated processes. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards. Perform internal quality system audit. Provide training and support to production staff on the use of automated systems. Requirements Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification. Min 5 years of experience in automation, semiconductor or manufacturing industry or similar. Proven track record of successfully implementing and optimizing automated systems. Proficient in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial robotics. Knowledge in ISO9001, ISO13485, TS16949, familiar with FMEA, PPAP, APQP and IOPQ is added advantage. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills. Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team of automation professionals.
