Job Summary: Deliver in-house legal counsel function and provide comprehensive legal advice and support to the Legal Director, which includes drafting and reviewing contracts and intended changes to Rules and Bye-Laws, compliance, governance, and helping the Club be PDPA compliant. Provide administrative, project, and executive support to the Director by ensuring that all tasks are completed according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner. Job Responsibilities: Provide support to the Organisation’s Legal and Compliance areas such as technology and media, IP, data protection (PDPA, GDPR, etc.), labour, club, and corporate issues. Implement and ensure compliance with the internal controls, statutory regulations, and other corporate formalities. Assist in implementing compliance programs. Advise on legal disputes. Monitor changes in laws and regulations and provide updates to the Company and/or the Legal and Compliance team in the event of any such changes. Provide legal advice, draft and review contracts and intended changes to Rules and Bye-Laws, manage the Club’s trademark and intellectual property portfolio, and help the Club be PDPA compliant. Carry out disciplinary proceedings in accordance with the Organisation’s Rules. Maintain and organise a full set of records for all files, minutes, activities, projects, and databases, and obtain all information from internal and external stakeholders to be able to engage all stakeholders and members and advise them on all issues raised. Organise meetings, take minutes, and provide timely updates on the actionable items assigned to each person. Write reports, updates, analyse issues, and achieve set outcomes while being proactive in achieving creative solutions. Present papers and persuade the audience. Quickly understand the business and be a value-add contributor. Be detailed and meticulous, committed to work, willing to be involved without being asked, and achieve results on all ongoing matters, even in fluid situations. Be result-oriented, a self-starter, and start and complete all tasks with achievements within the time-frame while constantly improving tasks. Be well-organised in calendar management, handling reports, following up on work tasks, answering email correspondence, scanning documents, and mailing letters or packages. Any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Legal Director, Management, and the Board. Job Requirements: Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity. Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications to perform the above duties are welcome to apply. Good work attitude with willingness to learn. Preferably have experience in professional P.A work, attending meetings, and taking minutes, but not essential. Logical, clear, and concise writing ability to grasp concepts and communicate ideas and issues at hand. Ability to write a good summary. Excellent communication, speaking, and writing skills in English. Meticulous with strong initiative as well as the ability to multi-task, organise, and prioritise work with minimum supervision to meet tight deadlines. Strong work ethics, integrity, responsible, and dependable. Able to work independently.
