About the job Deputy Director, Economic Policy Government Affiliate Passionate About Making a Difference Responsibilities: Review economic policies, policy variations/updates, and research plans in line with overall strategic outcomes. Assess and identify areas for strategic policy reviews, determine review scope, and supervise the conduct of reviews. Shape or conduct studies to deepen understanding and gain insights on initiatives and strategies effectiveness. Review and analyze data on economic policies. Develop analytical pieces to inform on policy thinking. Evaluate funding and budget policies, including special budget requests from internal units or support to government agencies in partnership projects. Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop policy alignment. Requirements: University degree in Political Science, Economics, Law, or any other related fields. Strong interest in and understanding of Singapore's socio-economic policy landscape. Experienced policy advocate in developing, implementing, and tracking the success of economic programmes and advocacy work. Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders to shape outcomes. Strong planning, analytical, and written skills, with an ability to analyze and explain issues to a wide variety of audiences.
