About the Role Our Middle East operations have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Qatar office. The successful candidate will possess the following:

Minimum 10 years’ experience and a sound understanding of current mechanical engineering technologies in design, management and delivery of large institutional residential, commercial, educational, hotel and/or hospital developments.
Extensive experience in mechanical services, including HVAC, plumbing, hydraulic and firefighting investigations and designs, fee proposals, winning jobs and negotiating contracts with clients.
A proven track record of delivering large-scale multidisciplinary sustainable building designs, on time and within budget in a commercial environment.
Knowledge of British, NFPA and CIBSE standards and requirements.
Strong technical report writing and documentation skills.
Extensive experience in using current technology analysis software for heat load calculations and energy modeling.
Experience with Building Information Management (BIM) is desirable.
Middle East experience and a working knowledge of design and construction practices specific to this region will be considered favorably.
Ability to successfully manage clients and other significant internal and external stakeholders.
Capability to coordinate with other multi-discipline project managers, teams and subconsultants.
Supervision and mentoring of junior staff, providing technical and professional guidance to assist in their development.
Leadership, time management and communication skills (English written and oral) are essential.
In possession of or progressing towards MMUP registration.
