Assistant IT Manager

Our Client is in the Manufacturing Industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for an Assistant IT Manager to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East. Responsibilities: Oversee the organization's cybersecurity measures. Evaluate IT needs and propose improvements for productivity, security, and efficiency. Recommend tech upgrades to management, highlighting their benefits. Plan and manage IT projects like system updates, migrations, and outages. Support IS team management, including performance reviews and career guidance. Identify IT training needs and develop programs for employee skill enhancement. Project management, budgeting, and resource planning. Any ad-hoc duty as assigned. Requirements: Min degree in Computer Science/IT. Min 3 years’ experience in cybersecurity practices and end-user computing. Expertise in Microsoft technologies: Office 365, Active Directory, and Exchange Services. Certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CEH will be advantageous. Good work knowledge of security risk management, security governance framework and compliance (IT Security Audit/log review), technical vulnerability management (Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration testing), application security, security technologies (system hardening, IDS/IPS, firewall), security incident response and security assessment.
