Build relationships with Sales & Trading in all locations (Singapore, UK, NY, Toronto) to facilitate query management. Oversee the daily operations of the Metals Desk during APAC hours to ensure trades are processed and settled in a timely manner (including confirmations, settlements and reconciliations). Address related queries, requests and issues from internal stakeholders and clients, ensuring timely responses or escalations as needed. Serve as the main communication hub between the desk and the global operations team during APAC hours. Work with the Global Operations team to enhance control and mitigate risk. Provide operational coverage to other asset classes (i.e., Foreign Exchange and/or Derivatives) as directed by local head/team manager. Update/maintain procedural documents and provide training to the team for coverage purposes as needed. Job Requirements 2 years of operations or related experience within the metals business. Working knowledge of the precious metals trade lifecycle (allocated & unallocated). Ability to work independently during APAC hours (APAC Holidays) and manage multiple tasks under time-sensitive conditions. Experience working with global teams and coordinating across multiple time zones.
