Job details

Location: Riyadh, KSA. Years of Experience: 6-7 years. Project Duration: 4 months. Working Arrangement: on-site. Language Requirements: Fluency in Arabic & English (written and spoken). We are seeking an experienced PMO Senior Consultant to lead and support a critical 4-month engagement , focusing on enhancing PMO operations and driving project excellence. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, proven experience in managing PMO operations, and a solid understanding of project management frameworks. Experience in the IT industry is preferred, enabling the consultant to align PMO practices with IT project needs.

Key Qualifications

  • 6-7 total years of experience , with proven experience in PMO operations .

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the IT industry , with knowledge of IT project management practices and challenges.
  • Proficiency in PMO tools and platforms , such as EPM, Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar.
  • PMP certification is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with managing digital transformation or IT infrastructure projects.

Other Qualifications

  • Strong leadership skills , with the ability to guide teams, influence stakeholders, and drive alignment with organizational goals.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

PMO Operations and Governance
  • Lead the development and optimization of PMO processes, templates, and governance frameworks.
  • Oversee portfolio management activities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Monitor project performance and provide actionable insights for improvement.
Project Oversight and Support
  • Provide guidance and support to project managers on planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to project management best practices and organizational standards.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align PMO strategies with business goals.
  • Facilitate communication and reporting between project teams and key stakeholders.
Training and Knowledge Sharing
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to upskill team members on PMO processes and tools.
  • Drive knowledge sharing initiatives to enhance project management capabilities across the organization.
  • Identify opportunities to improve PMO operations and recommend best practices.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and apply relevant advancements to PMO practices.
