Job Type: Full-time RESIDENT STATUS: Transferable SUPERVISOR/MANAGER: Operation Manager

Main Duties/Responsibilities

  1. Diagnose and troubleshoot a variety of low-current electronic devices, such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other consumer electronics.
  2. Perform repair and restoration work on damaged or malfunctioning electronic components, including circuit boards, ESP32, Arduino Board, Sensors, CCTV, Access Control, connectors, and other internal parts.
  3. Disassemble and reassemble electronic devices using appropriate tools and techniques.
  4. Test repaired devices to ensure they are functioning properly and meet quality standards.
  5. Maintain detailed records of all repair work, including the nature of the problem, the steps taken to resolve it, and the outcome.
  6. Provide customers with status updates on the progress of their repairs and communicate any issues or additional costs.
  7. Assist with inventory management, ordering replacement parts, and maintaining a well-stocked repair workshop.
  8. Stay up-to-date with the latest repair techniques, technologies, and industry best practices.
  9. Provide training and guidance to junior technicians or apprentices, as needed.

Experience

  1. Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an electronic repair technician, preferably in a retail or service-oriented environment.
  2. Hands-on experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of low-current electronic devices.

Soft Skills

  1. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  2. Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity to perform delicate repair work.
  3. Effective communication skills to provide clear and concise explanations to customers.
  4. Customer service-oriented with the ability to handle inquiries and complaints professionally.
  5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Technical Skills

  1. Proficient in the use of electronic testing equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering irons.
  2. Familiarity with common operating systems, software, and hardware configurations for various electronic devices.
  3. Understanding of electrical principles, circuit design, and component-level repair techniques.
  4. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides.
